Head of School Sara StephensonWelcome to the New School! We are excited to have you as a part of our family here on our beautiful campus in the heart of Fayetteville. Our school's commitment to providing the most spectacular learning experience in Northwest Arkansas has been unwavering for over 40 years. Our mission is being actively lived in every classroom, every hallway, every conversation and in every relationship in our school. The warmth and authenticity of the relationships between our students and teachers is second to none, and is what first drew me to the school as a parent of a pre-schooler in 2009. The heart of the New School drew me in and has nurtured my family ever since.

Now, as a parent and the Head of the School since 2011, I have the huge privilege of leading the school into its fifth decade of excellence. Along with maintaining our stellar academic, technology, arts, athletic and enrichment programs, we are dedicated to expanding our commitment to service learning, media literacy and global citizenship.
