A New Middle School Science Fair

From Vaden Spurlock: Middle School Science Teacher

This year marks the first stride in creating a new era in the way The New School approaches the traditional science fair. Gone are the days of subjecting middle school students and parents to the painful annual ritual of the last minute science project. Not only did our students get to work on math problems all day, but they also got to dress up for the occasion as "math aficionado's". The top eight students will have the opportunity to participate in the chapter competition on February 18th. The last two places are alternates in case any of our top eight students are unable to attend the chapter and/or state competitions.
