New School Photos Online
New School parents may order photos online through our lovely online galleries. Parents, grandparents, and friends of our students may view the password protected photos from home and order them online with ease.
How do I order prints online?
Photos online may be purchased by credit card to be delivered straight to your home. While viewing the gallery of images, click on the “Buy” button above and to the right of the image to add the photo to your shopping cart. You may also choose to purchase a digital download of the image which will download directly to your computer after you make your payment and check out.
If you are uncomfortable ordering prints online, you may request special assistance from the front office, but we encourage all parents to use the online ordering process.
How are these photos protected?
All the images in our online galleries are protected. Each gallery cannot be viewed without entering a password. We use the same password for every gallery. If you do not know the password, you may call or e-mail the front office, and we will give it to you after verifying your identity.
To further ensure the protection of your child's images, we have protected images in our online galleries from being right-click saved or shared accross other social media platforms.
What is Smugmug?
Smugmug is the name of the company that hosts our photos online. This is why our online galleries are accessed through www.thenewschool.smugmug.com. Smugmug handles the entire ordering process: credit card payement, printing, and shipping. If you ever have and problems with an order, don't hesitate to e-mail Taylor in the office, but he will likely instruct you to contact Smugmug directly.
Why do I have to pay for shipping?
All print orders made from our online galleries are printed at a professional lab in another state, then shipped directly to your doorstep. Because of this, most orders, whether or not they include 1 print or 25 prints, require a shipping fee of between $3.00 and $4.00. As such, we recommend that you consolidate your orders to minimize shipping expenses. You may add images from multiple galleries into your shopping cart for one order.
What if I just want ONE picture?
If you just want one picture and you want it now, we recommend a Digital Download. By purchasing a Digital Download, you can download the image file directly to your computer, giving you the ability to use the image however you choose, and make multiple prints at your local photo lab. While viewing your shopping cart, click on the blue "Dowloads" tab at the top of the screen. After you make your payment and check-out, the image/images you purchased as Digital Downloads will begin downloading to your computer automatically.
Ordering online with Smugmug saves us an enormous amount of time and helps our parents get the highest quality prints in a fast, reliable manner. We hope you enjoy this new system as much as we do.
