All grades: Students are expected to dress neatly. Cut-offs, pants with holes in them, halter-tops, and half shirts are examples of inappropriate dress. Short shorts and short skirts are not appropriate for school.

Students may be asked to meet specific dress codes for special field trips. We request parents purchase one New School shirt to be worn on field trips to aid in supervision, keeping the group together, and improving the safety of our students.

We request that students wear gym shoes for physical education classes. We request that students not wear platform shoes to school. Appropriate shoes are necessary for recess and physical education classes.
