Dear Cougars,

This time of year is always a fun time in athletics! There’s nothing quite like the postseason in Arkansas high school basketball, especially the “small schools”. In our classification, we have the District Tournament, which is a conference-only tournament. Then you have Regionals and the top four teams from a region make up the 16 team State Tournament.

This year, our Sr. Boys were able to win our second consecutive District and Regional Tournaments! There are only four teams in the whole state that win a Regional. Our Sr. Boys also won our first STATE Tournament game in school history! The Cougars fell short in their final game, but it was a season to remember. Here are some of their accomplishments: 37-4 record, which is a school best, Conference, District and Regional Champions, and an Elite 8 appearance at STATE. We are proud of everything this Sr. Boys team has accomplished. Next up is track season, and we are extremely excited to continue our success on the track!

Go Cougars!
