Dear Cougars,

We’ve had a lot of exciting things happen in TNS Athletics this year! In addition to successful Volleyball and Tennis seasons,  Cross Country has wrapped up, and we had a runner compete at the STATE Meet. Emma Caviness finished 21st in the State in 1A Cross Country.

Basketball season is now in full swing, with all teams having at least 3 games under their belt. We are fielding 4 teams for the first time ever. Our Jr. High teams are improving each day, and our Sr. Girls are battling every time out with 6 players. The Sr. Boys are off to a strong 7-0 start with a signature win over Providence on the 5th. The basketball games have been attended well, with good social distancing and mask wearing. For our home viewers, we have offered a live-streaming option that has had a lot of interest! The live-stream can be found on The New School Facebook page, linked here.

Basketball will be the primary sport that is in action for a while. Coming up next will be Bowling!

Go Cougars!

Go Cougars!
