Dear Cougars,

The beginning of another athletic season at The New School has seen the kick-off of new teams featuring first-time athletes as well as allowed returning athletes to pick up where they left off.

In August, volleyball season began which saw the first-ever High School Girls team at The New School! We have successfully hosted 3 volleyball matches where young athletes could compete surrounded by fans and loved ones. During these matches, our fans and athletes are adhering to the CDC and Arkansas Activities Association guidelines on social distancing and mask-wearings.

Other beloved sports have returned to practice or competitions as we over halfway through the first quarter of the school year. Cross country has kicked off and our runners are off to a great start to the season.  Tennis is at its midway point and has had big wins over both Farmington and Springdale High Schools! Golf is also in full swing, and are heading to their conference tournament today. Wish them luck!

The basketball season is only 28 days away! Mark your calendars for October 19th for your first chance to catch the Cougars in action on their home floor, where the high school boys went undefeated last season!
