This Year at The New School, 2020

Another year has come and gone! Take a look back at the year 2020 at The New School:


The Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette features Nancy Lang as she begins her second full semester as the Head of School at The New School. 




Class of 2020 senior boys basketball players are celebrated at The New School's first-ever Basketball Senior Night.




The New School community gathered at The Graduate Hotel for the 2020 Spring Party. Through the purchasing of live and silent auction items and paddle raises, The New School raised over $180,000 to directly impact the education of students at the school.




Distance learning continues at The New School. Administration and staff acted quickly to transition to a virtual education model that would continue to challenge and engage students.




The New School celebrates the Class of 2020 at our inaugural graduation ceremony. This 2020 Graduation began a new chapter in the story of each of these individuals, and it began a new chapter in the story of The New School.




New School student Lily Parry, grade 6, was selected as one of ten finalists in a local talent show hosted by The Momentary known as the "#MoTowerTalentShow." 




The New School launches the school's first-ever virtual summer camp program. The New School's summer camp was selected as Citiscapes Magazine's Winner for Best Summer Program For Kids for the fifth year in a row. 




Campus is open, and learning continues at The New School for both on-campus and distance learners. 




The beginning of another athletic season at The New School begins to see the kick-off of new teams featuring first-time athletes as well as allowed returning athletes to pick up where they left off.




The New School alumnus Parker Walker completes the design and production of five new benches on his alma mater’s playground to serve as an outdoor classroom.




The New School 38th Annual Fun Run comes to a close. Throughout this week-long event, 45 families participated by running, walking, biking and hiking a total of 541 miles and raised $2,360.




The New School's Ensemble III and Upper School Music instructor Austin Farnam close the school year with a heartwarming performance of  "This Christmas," which features Grammy nominee Dr. Jeffrey Murdock.
