EARLY CHILDHOOD (12 mo. - PreK)

The New School offers Early Childhood (12mo. - PreK) students a summer filled with discovery and adventure on our beautiful campus.

Children will participate in theme-based activities including creative arts and crafts, music and movement, language arts, cooking and gardening, outdoor exploration and water play!

The New School's award winning early childhood program has offered quality care to Northwest Arkansas families since 1971.

Early Childhood highlights include loving and supportive teachers, stimulating learning environments, guidance in social development, carefully planned daily schedule, and developmentally appropriate activities!

The New School's Early Childhood Summer is for children/families that were enrolled during the 2023-24 school year ONLY.

If you have any questions regarding Early Childhood Summer Programming, please contact ShaRonda Sandidge at sharonda.sandidge@thenewschool.org

KINDERGARTEN - 6th GRADE
This summer, we will be offering Base Camp (a traditional style day camp) as well as full day Activity Camps such as coding, art, chess, outdoor adventures and more! Our K-6 Summer Camp is available to TNS students and Non-TNS students in Northwest Arkansas that have just completed Kindergarten through 6th grade. Children do NOT have to be enrolled at The New School to attend TNS Summer Camps for Kindergarten through 6th Grade!

Children are grouped by their CURRENT GRADE LEVEL, the grade they have just completed in the 2023-24 school year NOT the grade they will be going into.

Each day, activities will center around thematic units with lots of fun and hands-on learning through arts and crafts and activities. Base Campers will attend an outdoor centered field trips a week to enjoy the beauty of NWA. All Campers will also enjoy special on campus recreational activities, recess, tech time, and structured free time to be social with their friends!

If you have any questions regarding K-6 Summer Camps, please contact our Camp Director, Halee Freeman, at halee.freeman@thenewschool.org
