    MS Parent Book Club

    This description will be used if event is shared to External Calendar, which all families have access to. First Friday MS Parent Book Club CURIOSITY: "Is middle school the worst time of life—or the worst-understood time?" Join us to explore the above question as we gather for three sessions this semester while reading through Finding the Magic in Middle School by Chris Balme. Sessions will meet on Friday mornings from 8:15 - 9am, and will be equal parts book talk and coffee talk. Bite-sized reading rhythm: Friday, September 5 - Introduction & Part 1:The River (72 pages) Friday, October 3 - Part 2: Becoming the Parents Middle Schoolers Need (99 pages) (Skipping November) Friday, December 7 - Part 3: Teaching Transformation, Part 4: From River to Ocean & Appendices (70 pages) You provide your own book, and I'll provide the coffee and pastries!
