    First Friday Family Book Club

    CURIOSITY: What if most of our conflicts with 10–25-year-olds aren’t about “behavior” at all, but about whether they feel respected? Join us to explore the above question as we gather for four sessions this spring semester while reading through David Yeager's book 10 to 25: The Science of Motivating Young People. Sessions will meet on the first Friday morning of each month February - May from 8:30 - 9:30am, and will be equal parts book discussion and coffee talk. Manageable reading rhythm: Friday, February 6 - Introduction (18 pages) Friday, March 6 - Section 1: Understanding 10 to 25 Year Olds (18 pages) Friday, April 3 - Section 2: Mentor-Mindset Practices (129 pages) Friday, May 1 - Section 3: Mentor-Mindset Practices (58 pages) You provide your own book, and I'll provide the coffee and pastries! Open to all TNS families mentoring (or will mentor) a 10 to 25 year old.

    Early Childhood 2nd Annual Children's Week Carnival

    Early Childhood students and teachers will be ending Arkansas Children's Week with the 2nd Annual Children's Week Carnival. There will be several activity stations set up on the early childhood playgrounds. Activities are inspired by the theme of the week- Learning Comes Alive Outdoors. Parents are welcome to volunteer or participate in activities.

    Earth Day at the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks- Middle School

    The Botanical Garden of the Ozarks 4703 N Crossover Rd, Fayetteville, AR 72764
    TNS Middle Schoolers, sixth, seventh, and eighth grades, will be attending an Earth Day event at the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks on Wednesday April 22, 2026 from 10:30-2:30,. Students will take a sack lunch to be enjoyed on the grounds before exploring booths and displays set up by The Forest Service, Audubon Arkansas, The U of A Biology Department, NWA Native Plant Society, as well as others.  We are asking all students to wear a New School T-shirt that day.  Peddle PoPs (all fruit popsicles) will be there, please send $5.00 so they may purchase one if they desire to do so.
