CURIOSITY: What if most of our conflicts with 10–25-year-olds aren’t about “behavior” at all, but about whether they feel respected? Join us to explore the above question as we gather for four sessions this spring semester while reading through David Yeager's book 10 to 25: The Science of Motivating Young People. Sessions will meet on the first Friday morning of each month February - May from 8:30 - 9:30am, and will be equal parts book discussion and coffee talk. Manageable reading rhythm: Friday, February 6 - Introduction (18 pages) Friday, March 6 - Section 1: Understanding 10 to 25 Year Olds (18 pages) Friday, April 3 - Section 2: Mentor-Mindset Practices (129 pages) Friday, May 1 - Section 3: Mentor-Mindset Practices (58 pages) You provide your own book, and I'll provide the coffee and pastries! Open to all TNS families mentoring (or will mentor) a 10 to 25 year old.

3rd graders give speeches about famous people they have written biographies about. Event Location: 3rd grade classrooms and nearby hallways

Kindergarten students will take a field trip to the Amazeum.

Saint Saens: Carnival of the Animals presented in by Tatum Collective in partnership with TNS

PreK-2nd grade students will gather in the auditorium to discuss the Choose Confidence Spring topics. 3rd-5th will be 2:00-2:30 and preK-2nd will be 2:45-3:15.

This is an after-school four fable mini musical by Tatum Collective

4th grade students will set up a state fair exhibit after a lot of research and preparation.  All other LS students will tour the fair between 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.  Parents will be invited to tour between 2:00-3:00 p.m. and then assist their children in taking down their displays.

1st grade will travel to Creekside Park in Farmington to celebrate the end of the school year.

Ms. Angie's piano and vocal students will give their spring recital.

Scholastic’s Book Fair will be in the Lower School in the Mandrell Center. Students may shop with friends and family before school starts.

Students, parents, and teachers will celebrate kindergarten accomplishments with light refreshments following.

4th grade will celebrate the end of the school year with a party. Students will enjoy barn games and a picnic. Parents are invited to join.
